AMD Ryzen 7 Pro 5750G APU is Spotted!

Initially introduced with the 2nd-generation Ryzen platform, AMD’s decision to go back to APU style processors have undoubtedly proven to be more than a little popular for those looking for a gaming solution on a tight budget. Admittedly, with them representing an integrated CPU/graphics adaptor design, they’re not exactly world-class in terms of graphical performance, but for those on a budget, they’re still surprisingly potent.

The upcoming Ryzen 5000G range expected for release in the near future, however, one such sample has appeared online, and, at least in terms of clock speed, it looks more than a little tasty!

AMD Ryzen 7 Pro 5750G

Following a report via TechPowerUp, an AMD Ryzen 7 Pro 5750G APU processor has appeared online. When compared to the last generation release, it’s looking like this new upcoming design is going to be notably faster. And not only because of the Zen 3 architecture transition either (albeit, that will play a part for sure). Coming with a 4.75GHz clock speed, this is 350MHz faster than the Ryzen 7 Pro 4750G APU, and, as such, we can likely expect their entire Ryzen 5000G series to carry similarly faster clock speeds.

What Do We Think?

In terms of integrated graphics, we anticipate the Ryzen 5000G series to continue to utilize the Vega adaptor that has proven to be more than competent in their prior APU designs. How good will these new series be though? – Well, graphically, probably about the same. In terms of outright processing power, however, we’re definitely in strong improvement territory here. As always though, as soon as the samples arrive, we’ll be ready to bring you the benchmarks!
