With the Ryzen 7000 desktop processors expected for release at some time around September/October this year, we’re drawing ever closer to a date when AMD should formally announce their launch and, perhaps more importantly, their key specifications. – As to when this will happen, however, so far we’ve been left in the dark.
Following a report via Videocardz, however, AMD themselves may have just given us a huge hint as to when the Ryzen 7000 launch will happen. Put simply, it seems that very early August is looking 99.9% likely for the CPUs to finally get revealed!
Following the opening of registration for their “Meet The Expert” event, AMD has confirmed that not only will this feature a key focus on Ryzen 7000 processors and the new AM5 motherboards, but more so, that this event will be held on August 5th.
Now why is this important? Well, put simply, if they’re going to be willing to somewhat publically discuss details on their processors here, this pretty much guarantees that the Ryzen 7000 series is going to have to be launched and/or revealed beforehand. So, with this kicking off on August 5th, Ryzen 7000 looks certain to be officially launched at some point within the next 2 weeks. – Or, to pin things down a little more, probably between August 1st to August 4th.
Although August 1st-4th does seem the most likely range, we, of course, can’t rule out the possibility that the Ryzen 7000 launch might happen sooner. And by this, the only option is before the end of this month! – Any way you look at this though, it seems that after months of speculation, AMD may finally be ready to give us some concrete details on their next generation of processors and motherboards.
We will, of course, keep you posted!
