Shadow Of The Tomb Raider was a bit of an anomaly and actually gave us some quite odd results. While all of the processors performed around the same in the average FPS, the 7900X actually came in quite a lot lower, by over 20 FPS. Even with multiple retests, we garnered the same result, so can only assume that Shadow Of The Tomb Raider just isn’t optimised for the likes of the 7900X, so an update could potentially fix that in the future.
