AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D & 9900X3D Prices Leaked

The prices for AMD’s upcoming Ryzen 9 9950X3D and Ryzen 9 9900X3D processors have been leaked. These CPUs, featuring 3D V-Cache technology and based on the Zen 5 architecture, were spotted in retail listings on Amazon and Newegg by well-known leaker @momomo_us. However, they are not yet available for purchase.
Leaked Prices
According to the leaks, the Ryzen 9 9900X3D is priced at $599, while the Ryzen 9 9950X3D ranges between $699 and $710 in different listings. The good news is that these prices are nearly the same as those of the previous generation at launch. This suggests that AMD has decided to keep pricing consistent, unlike what happened with the Ryzen 7 9800X3D, which saw a $30 price increase over its predecessor, the Ryzen 7 7800X3D.
Performance and Market Expectations
The Ryzen 9 9900X3D and Ryzen 9 9950X3D bring significant improvements over their non-3D V-Cache counterparts. They feature a larger cache, boosting performance in gaming and content creation applications. The Ryzen 7 9800X3D has already demonstrated how beneficial this technology can be.
Leaks suggest these new CPUs could offer gaming performance similar to the Ryzen 7 9800X3D, which currently dominates gaming CPU sales. The reason AMD hasn’t raised the prices, if the leaks are accurate, might be the lower demand for Ryzen 9 X3D processors. Since gamers prefer the Ryzen 7 X3D series for its value, AMD may have decided to maintain the pricing strategy for the Ryzen 9 lineup.
