Power Consumption and Temperatures
Power Consumption
The 1500X isn’t a power hungry beast at just 65W, and that shows here with it using a modest amount of power even while it is overclocked to 4GHz.
Temperatures
The temperatures are a big improvement here too, a low TDP and fewer cores vs the R7 series means it runs a lot cooler. This means that you should be able to hit a good overclock without the need for the kind of high-end coolers required by the faster Ryzen processors.
