AMD Ryzen Threadripper Pre-Built Systems Available Now!

AMD Ryzen Threadripper systems are out and available to pre-purchase. In anticipation of the August 10th release of the new high-powered processor, it seems that the market simply couldn’t wait. Pre-made systems are currently available to purchase and the prices may not be as high as feared.
AMD Ryzen Threadripper – Power and Performance
The AMD Ryzen Threadripper is exciting. While the Ryzen range of processors has brought the AMD brand back into a performance parity (of sorts) with Intel, it was the Threadripper that was really turning heads.
Of course, figures are not available as of yet. However, even conservative estimates are suggesting that this could be an Intel killer. Ok, maybe not a killer, but it will give a wounding blow.
The Threadripper 1920X is set to feature 12 cores and 24 threads with a base clock of 3.5GHz. The 1950X will be a 16 core part with 32. Amazingly impressive figures that have us AMD fanboys dribbling.
Who are selling the systems and for how much?
Ibuypower and Dell have got the wheels in motion offering pre-built systems based on the AMD HEDT platform.
The below shows the systems offered by IbuyPower.
The following shows Dells offering via their Alienware systems.
The overwhelming thoughts I take away from these prices are that the AMD Ryzen Threadripper, although clearly pricey, is not going to be as expensive as feared.
With the launch of the Threadripper series on the 10th of August, there are going to be a lot of enthusiasts keen to get their hands on one of these as soon as possible. The variety offered is pretty good with ‘low-end’ systems offering Nvidia 1060’s with 8gb of ram reports videocardz.
A lack of AMD cards offered for these systems is somewhat ironic. Yes, Vega isn’t quite with us just yet. Even so, given that the AMD Ryzen Threadripper is set to be the pinnacle of AMD processing technology, you’d think somebody would throw in a 580rx build.
