It’s not even Black Friday yet, but already Amazon’s giving us the bargain of the year. Specifically, US Amazon is offering AMD’s Threadripper 1950X CPU – already a bargain compared to Intel’s i7-7820X – for $879.99. That’s a whopping $120 price drop from the MSRP. In fact, that’s just £669 for us UK dwellers. However, since the price drop is exclusive to US Amazon, UK buyers also pay $187.06 in shipping and import fees. That means a total of $1,067, or £811. For comparison, UK Amazon is selling Threadripper 1950X for £799.99. Sucks to be us. If you are considering investing in a 1950X, though, and are unsure, check out our review.
