AMD is preparing to increase the thermal design power (TDP) for its Ryzen 5 9600X and Ryzen 7 9700X processors from 65W to 105W. This change will come with the release of the AGESA 1.2.0.1 Patch A BIOS update, expected to be available for all AM5 motherboards.
