AMD To Resume Production of Ryzen 3000G APUs

AMD may be resuming production of its low end Ryzen 3000G series APUs.

More 3000G APUs In Production

The information around this was shared on Chinese site Boardchannels (Via VideoCardz) that states that AMD is planning to make around 30,000 Ryzen 3000G CPUs, such as the Ryzen 3 3200G and Ryzen 5 3400G quad core CPUs, to be sold alongside cheaper B450 motherboards. Why AMD are doing this isn’t clear as there is the improved 5600G CPUs available with 6 cores and a newer architecture for only a small extra cost at £121.99 compared to the 3400G which is around £100. AMD must be seeing a market for these CPUs that I can’t quite see myself.

On the topic of APU’s we are also still expecting the Ryzen 7000G and possibly 6000G APUs as well which still haven’t seen any new information regarding when we may see their launch. I do have high hopes for these APUs as we can judge their possible performance on the 7040 series APUs which are fairly potent for integrated graphics.
