AMD Trinity and Brazos 2.0 parts start shipping

AMD’s second generation of notebook and desktop targeted APUs have started shipping immediately according to AMD’s Senior PR Manager Phil Hughes. AMD is claiming a doubling of performance per watt over the previous generation of A series APUs, meaning Trinity, which will be available for both the desktop market in the form of the FM2 socket platform and in the notebook market for the BGA FM2 package. AMD even gave us a glimpse of the rather unceremonious send off the first shipment of Trinity APUs recieved. 1000 units are on their way to ASUSTek first, probably for engineering samples to help with FM2 board finalisation, testing and marketing.
