Not long after the launch NVIDIA’s latest BETA driver optimized for Battlefield 3 beta, AMD has followed the pace with their own AMD Catalyst 11.10 Preview.
The Preview versions are basically BETA hotfix drivers, and this one optimizes the Radeon graphics card meeting the minimum or recommended requirements with a few tweaks including improved performances for both non-Anti-Aliasing and application enabled Anti-Aliasing cases on the HD 6000 and 5000 series for single GPU configurations, as well as the support for Eyefinity 5×1 display configurations both in portrait and landscape on the HD 6000 and 5000 series. The Vision Engine Control Center also sees enhancements in the User Interface for the CrossfireX, GPU Overdrive and Information Center pages.
Currently available for download here, with Battlefield 3 Beta opening in a couple of days, we’ll see which of the drivers improve the best.
