AMD’s German site has accidentally labelled the RX 7600 product page as the RX 7600 XT.
The RX 7600 is currently the third Radeon 7000 series card making it quite lacklustre compared to NVIDIA’s 6 current 40 series releases but today we had a little glimmer of hope that AMD’s next card would be on its way. On AMD.com/de/, the company’s German site, a listing for the RX 7600 XT was spotted by VideoCardz bringing some hope to a leak for the new card. Unfortunately, this was just a mistake as the listing was just for the already-released RX 7600. Now I’m not sure how this error occurred as it doesn’t seem likely to be a lost-in-translation thing instead just a simple bit of human error. The number of times I mistakenly typed RX 7600 XT or even RX 6600 when doing the release coverage of the card would make you sick.
Currently, we are waiting on AMD to play catch with NVIDIA who has effectively released all of their offerings bar the 4060 Ti 16GB next month, the 4050 and various Ti cards and even a possible Titan. AMD currently only has 3 cards on the market which begs the question of when and what they will release next especially considering they jumped from 7900XT to 7600. Of course, this blunder is unlikely to be any indication of our next release but I do see the 7600 XT to be a likely candidate due to its targeting of the “budget” market and AMD working their way back up to 7800 XT. On the other hand, ASRock RX 7800XT cards were spotted in EEC Registration listings just a few weeks ago which definitely holds more possibility than the 7600 XT.
