AMD has finally lifted the curtain on the highly-anticipated Ryzen 7 9800X3D, putting an end to weeks of speculation and leaks. Featuring AMD’s Zen 5 architecture and an impressive 3D cache of 104MB, this powerhouse processor is here to challenge Intel’s Core Ultra 9 285K, claiming a 20% performance increase.

New Design with Zen 5 and 3D Cache

The Ryzen 7 9800X3D comes packed with eight cores and 16 threads, fueled by AMD’s renowned Simultaneous Multi-Threading (SMT) technology. Base clock speeds are set at a respectable 4.7 GHz, with a boost clock pushing up to 5.2 GHz — and this time, no trade-offs on speed.
