AMD’s New Ryzen 9800X3D Processors are 35% Faster

The long wait for AMD’s latest Ryzen 9000X3D processors is nearly over. With the official release set for November 7, many gamers and tech enthusiasts are excited about the next-generation chips, especially the highly anticipated Ryzen 7 9800X3D.
AMD recently confirmed that the new Ryzen 9000X3D lineup will include three models: the Ryzen 9 9950X3D, the Ryzen 9 9900X3D, and the Ryzen 7 9800X3D. According to leaked benchmarks, the Ryzen 7 9800X3D promises significant performance improvements, particularly for gamers.
Ryzen 7 9800X3D 35% Faster than the 7800X3D
Early reports show the Ryzen 7 9800X3D scoring 25,258 points in the Cinebench R23 multi-core test, compared to 18,759 points for the previous Ryzen 7 7800X3D. That’s a 35% increase in multi-core performance. Single-core performance has also improved by 25%, making it one of the best options for gaming and demanding tasks.
In addition, leaked tests show the 9800X3D reaching speeds of up to 5.6 GHz with Precision Boost Overdrive. The base clock speed for the chip is 4.7 GHz, with a turbo boost of 5.2 GHz, which is 200 MHz higher than the Ryzen 7 7800X3D.
The Ryzen 7 9800X3D will likely cost around $30 more than the Ryzen 7 7800X3D. If you’re looking for top-tier gaming performance, this price jump may be worth it.
