AMD’s short term processor release roadmap has be unofficially leaked via the means of a motherboard manufacturers BIOS processor support list. The list reveals several new Llano processors in addition to some new Sempron and Athlon II units. All of the below processors will be socket FM1:
– Sempron X2 198 @ 2.5GHz with 1MB L2 cache and 65W TDP;
– Athlon II X2 221 @2.8GHz with 1MB L2 cache and 65W TDP;
– Athlon II X4 631 @ 2.6GHz with 4MB L2 cache and 100W TDP;
– Athlon II X4 641 @ 2.8GHz with 4MB L2 cache and 65W TDP;
– Llano E2-3200 X2 @ 2.4GHz with 1MB L2 cache and HD 6370D (180 cores clocked at 443MHz);
– Llano A8-3870 X4 @ 3GHz (unlocked multiplier) with 4MB L2 cache and HD 6550D (400 cores clocked at 600MHz).
Other models that may or may not launch this year includes the A4-3420, A6-3420, A6-3620, A6-3670 (unlocked) and A8-3820. Apart from the A6-3670, all of these models are expected to feature a 100MHz clock speed improvement over their current counterparts, although for some reason the A6-3670 is expected to be clocked 100MHz slower than the A6-3650. These releases are all based on speculation and it is quite possible some of these models may not even be released particularly if AMD struggles to get them out by the end of the year. If that happens to be the case they may not bother with a late release and shift straight to the next generation Trinity APUs instead.
