AMI, a global leader in firmware technology, has joined forces with Samsung Electronics to boost security in Samsung’s Galaxy Book PCs. This collaboration introduces AMI’s Tektagon platform to Samsung’s security system, Samsung Knox, offering enhanced protection for users. Samsung’s Galaxy Book5 Pro 360, Galaxy Book4 Pro, and other models now come with this added layer of security.
Through this partnership, Tektagon integrates seamlessly with Samsung Knox to provide comprehensive protection across every layer of the device. The combined solution offers real-time threat detection, protection from firmware-injected malware, and defense against ransomware and denial of service (DoS) attacks.
Industry Leaders Discuss Security Solutions
“As a leading supplier of endpoint technology to global government and commercial industries, Samsung is committed to securing its platforms at all levels,” said Dr. Hark-Sang Kim, EVP & Head of New Computing R&D Team at Samsung Electronics. “Integrating AMI’s Tektagon solution into our latest Galaxy Books provides powerful and comprehensive protection at the platform’s foundation.”
Stefano Righi, Senior Vice President of AMI’s Global Software and Security Group, echoed this sentiment. “Together, Samsung and AMI are helping to reduce the cyber threat landscape, securing business endpoints around the world from malicious attacks.”
The Galaxy Book5 Pro 360, Galaxy Book4 Ultra, and other models are available for purchase through Samsung’s website, featuring AMI’s Tektagon Platform Root of Trust as part of their built-in security system.
