Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 owners can now update their tablet to Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, either via Samsung Kies or using the inbuilt OTA updater functionality. The new software update is only for the WiFi variant of the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0.
Just like the LTE version before this, Android 4.2.2 brings a host of improvements in terms of battery optimizations and performance tweaks. There’s your usual DayDream, lock screen widgets and quick-setting toggles, which are standard goodies with the newer Jelly Bean operating system. Also, Samsung has made some changes to many of their S Apps, like S Planner and other inbuilt apps like Contacts and E-Mail.
If you are a Samsung Galaxy Note 8 owner haven’t already updated it, head onto either Kies or OTA updater in order to download the new 4.2.2 update.
