The ATTO Disk Benchmark is a performance measurement tool is for Microsoft Windows. It measures your storage systems performance with various transfer sizes and test lengths for reads and writes. It has multiple options to available to customize your performance measurement including queue depth, overlapped I/O and even a comparison mode with the option to run continuously. ATTO Disk Benchmark can be used to test any manufacturers RAID controllers, storage controllers, host adapters, hard drives and SSD drives.

In the chart above it shows how the drive took a dive after the conditioning, but it also shows how the firmware recovered it back to optimal speeds before the test was over. I could easily have redone the tests to get a flawless display result, but I think this is a good display on how effective the SSD2go Pocket’s firmware works to fix issues and restore the drive to an optimal performance.
Drive Comparison
The Angelbird SSD2go Pocket out-performed anything on mobile storage we’ve had through our offices and had no trouble achieving the effective top speeds the USB 3.0 port has to offer. It blasted through the ATTO tests with speeds up to 395MB/s when writing and up to 449MB/s when reading.
