The Anidees AI-07MBW Micro-ATX Chassis, which is the black model with the windowed side panel which we reviewed today, is available from Overclockers UK for £70.99, unfortunately I couldn’t find any US stock at the time of writing.
Overview
I really like this chassis, it’s got a great presence and overall design that I think looks rather fantastic. It seems like it would be a great chassis to have up on your desktop and it provides a huge side panel window that gives an uncompromising view of your graphics card. That being said, I have to say that this chassis isn’t perfect, but it’s still a strong contender in its respective price range.
There’s a good range of cable routing options, but you can only really utilize them properly with a mini-ITX board, I found the grommets a little small and most of the cables had to be crammed through the two grommets that are available with a Micro-ATX board installed. The tool-free hard drive bays are great and I like that they can be removed, but by doing so you’ll still find it difficult to do something with the space there, or the space near the bottom rear fan; modders may have fun with it, but I fail to see much potential here. The side panel window is stunning, but it shows a little too much “nothing” in the bottom half of the case, so maybe a half height window would have been better. I’m clutching at straws here, there’s nothing “wrong” with any of this, it’s just down to everyone’s preference I guess.
Those who love air-cooled solution will appreciate what this chassis has to offer. With a 200mm fan in the front, as well as two rear 140mm fans, Aindees are certainly adding to the value for money aspect. Of course, there’s also the option to install 120/140mm fans in the front, you could install 120mm fans in the rear, as well as two more 120/140mm fans in the top. There’s also scope for water cooling, be that custom loop or AIO solutions, although I’d think AIO would be better suited of the two.

“The Anidees AI-07 is a great chassis for those looking to build a small and mighty gaming system. There’s copious amounts of space on the interior for powerful graphics cards and cooling solutions that make this a strong contender for those building a LAN gaming rig, with some scope for those who want to mod their chassis.”
