Interior

The motherboard stand-offs come pre-installed, so installing your motherboard should be a quick and easy job, and you’ll also notice a huge CPU cooler mounting cut-out, which should make installing those tricky cooler backplates a little easier. The hard drive mounting panel is on the right side and can be completely removed from the case to make for easy installation of your drives.

Pop the panel out by undoing three screws and you have clear access to the cable management clips at the back, as well as the two pre-installed 120mm air intake fans in the front of the chassis.

In the back you’ll find a 120mm fan with a standard 3-pin connection, and below that you can see there are five expansion slots, each of which comes fitted with a reusable ventilated cover.

The front and back fans are all of a high quality, nothing too fancy in terms of design, but this is a closed chassis design anyway, so the interior will not be visible when the system is complete.

In the top you’ll find all the internal cables with the exception of the last few inches of the HD audio cable are finished in black to give a nice clean look. there is a molex connection, as well as three female 3-pin fan connectors for the fan controller and even a little snug in the top of the chassis that is perfect for stuffing excess cable length.

Around the back you’ll find little or no space what so ever for cable routing, but just to point out again that there are three plastic clips towards the front that should help keep excess cables tidy and out of the way of your fans.

Behind the front panel you can see that there is room to take out the 120mm front fans and swap them for 80mm fans, not sure why you would do such a thing, but you could if you wanted to.

Finally we have the two side panels, both lavished with thick noise dampening materials like we found on the front panel, all together we’ve got a lot of material that will have a big impact on how much noise escapes (or should I say doesn’t escape) the chassis.
