How Much Does it Cost?

The Antec C8 is a pretty impressive case that comes with a vast array of interesting features, interesting engineering, robust build quality, extensive hardware support and much more, so I was naturally expecting it to be rather expensive, but honestly, it’s really not. The base model comes in at just £99.98 in the specification I reviewed today, which is far lower than I expected. There are a few versions too, black and white, obviously, but also with an aluminium or wood strip, giving you some great options to pick from.

  • Antec C8 Wood Full Tower Tempered Glass PC Gaming Case Black – £99.98
  • Antec C8 Aluminium Full Tower Tempered Glass PC Gaming Case White – £109.99
  • Antec C8 ARGB Full Tower Tempered Glass PC Gaming Case Black – £129.98

Overview

The Antec Constellation C8 Dual Chamber is a compelling option for those wanting a large dual chamber case, and while there’s strong competition in the market right now, at this price, Antec is a very serious contender that’s just too good to ignore. It’s a very well-engineered showcase designed to highlight your build, and given how important aesthetics are in the modern PC gaming world, it ticks all the right boxes.

Dual Chamber

The dual-chamber layout cleverly separates the power supply and storage, streamlining airflow and making cable management a breeze. Whether you’re running an air cooler or opting for a liquid cooling solution, the C8 can handle it with plenty of room to spare.

With support for numerous fans and massive radiators, you can rest assured that your high-performance components will be kept cool, despite the lack of front-mounted fans. However, the trade off works, and having the two expansive tempered glass panels offer an unobstructed view of your hardware, turning your PC into a work of art, so you best take care with your cable routing. However, I would have liked to see BTF motherboard support, but that’s hardly a deal breaker for me, I don’t mind the cables really.

Hardware Support

Beyond its good looks, the C8 is incredibly functional. It accommodates a wide range of hardware, from E-ATX motherboards to the largest graphics cards on the market. You won’t be short on storage space either, with plenty of room for both SSDs and HDDs behind the motherboard to complement any M.2 storage you’re using.

Antec has clearly prioritised ease of use, with easily removable panels and drive cages that make building and upgrading a simple process. Numerous cable routing options and well-placed grommets help keep everything tidy, so your build looks as good on the inside as it does on the outside.

Build Quality

The C8’s build quality is evident in its solid construction and attention to detail. Crafted from high-quality steel and tempered glass, it feels robust and sturdy. Small touches like the rubber grommets on the front I/O panel and the anti-vibration mounts for the PSU and HDDs demonstrate Antec’s commitment to quality and longevity. Plus, there are dust filters everywhere it matters.

Design

Aesthetically, the C8 is a winner. Its clean lines, white finish, and expansive glass panels create a modern and minimalist look that’s sure to complement any setup. This case is designed to be seen, allowing you to proudly display your carefully chosen components. Plus, the choice of some unique versions with a wood or aluminium strip are a welcome change too.

Should I Buy One?

One of the most surprising things about the C8 is its price. Antec has managed to pack in a ton of features and premium build quality without the hefty price tag often associated with high-end cases. So, should you buy one? If you’re an enthusiast or gamer looking for a spacious, well-designed case that excels in both cooling and aesthetics, the Antec Constellation C8 Dual Chamber is a fantastic choice. Just make sure you have enough room on your desk to accommodate its size and show off its stunning design.
