The DF800 is certainly an interesting-looking case, but it’s not a huge departure from previous Antec models, but just the latest one in the range. Antec is well known for its creative front panel designs, and this one is certainly interesting. There’s a good amount of ventilation on there and also plenty of room to show off the RGB fans that lay behind it, but we’ll see those in action shortly.
The left side is a large tempered glass window, and it has a thick black trim around the edges to hide all the boring frame parts, and the screws are at the back of the case too, making the left side look exceptionally tidy overall.
The right side panel is also mounted by screws at the back of the case. It’s a fairly standard looking panel, but as you can see, it has a large ventilated section towards the bottom, and there’s a magnetic dust filter on the interior too, ensuring your system stays cool and clean.
Up on the top, there’s another large ventilated section, with the magnetic dust filter on the exterior this time.
Below it, you’ll find plenty of space for additional fans and radiators, but it’ll also provide passive heat exhaust too.
There’s a nice I/O panel here too, with power and LED controls featuring nicely designed square switches. There’s a pair of USB ports and audio jacks too. I love the little rubber dust covers too, it just keeps them looking neat and tidy.
Around the back, yet another fan mount, with a height-adjustable design.
There’s even a slide-out dust filter down here for the PSU, which is always welcome.
