Antec Formula 6 Nano Diamond Thermal Compound Review

A Closer Look
Perhaps we should start with the thermal compound spreader which in my view is a nice addition. There are however a lot of different methods for applying thermal paste, some people insist on using the CPU Cooler to mix it around, some use a bit of card, but quite frankly you can’t quite beat being given something designed for the job. Especially as you know it will be to hand when you want to apply the compound. There is no real explanation other than it is a spreader made of a flexible but stiff plastic. It is certainly a nice gesture and one that I very much appreciated.
Moving to the thermal compound syringe itself, we can see it is mainly white. There is of course an Antec label which is fairly simple as it tells you what the product is, the weight and to keep it out of reach of children.
There is for once, not much more to be discussed, there is no clever gauge on the side of the syringe to tell you how much is left so you will have to do it the old fashioned way and wait till you run out.
Finally, taking a look at the thermal compound itself we can see it is a light grey colour. It is fairly sticky but is quite easy to spread. The compound is also very easy to clean off the spreader and your hands for instance so is quite nice to use.
