The interior of the GX700 has been given a clean looking black finish throughout, the motherboard back plate features a large CPU cut-out for easy mounting of your CPU cooler, as well as some basic cable management cut-outs.

The rear of the chassis features a pre-installed 120mm fan win a standard 3pin connection which acts as the main exhaust.

In the front we have four quick release mechanisms for the 5.25″ drive bays and five slide out trays that support both 3.5″ and 2.5″ hard drives. The hard drive bay features large oval cut-outs to allow airflow to pass from the front of the chassis. The big thing you’ll notice here however is that there are no pre-installed front mounted fans, which seems strange given the chassis is fitted with 1 x 120mm and 2 x 140 exhaust fans.

Here you can see the 140mm top mounted fans, you could easily install a slim radiator in the top of the chassis, but you may have to settle for either push or pull configurations, not both.

Around the back of the chassis we have a further four quick release locks on the 5.25″ drive bays, which means you need to remove both side panels to lock/unlock your optical drives. The slide out trays for the hard drives also pull on from the right side not the left, although this does give a slightly cleaner look from the left side.

Cable management area isn’t vast, but there should be more than enough room for a system of this size and there are some recessed areas that offer more space in the top left and bottom right corners of the chassis.
