Ripple
Throughout all of our ripple testing, the Antex HCG Extreme X850 gave us no cause for concern. In fact, the results as a whole were remarkably low. To put these into context, under EU standards, results can be anything up to 50 before a ‘fail’ status is achieved. As you can see from our results, the 3.3v and 5v scorings constantly remained under 5. Additionally, the 12v rail (which can sometimes be a little excitable) was more than consistent.
What we can say is that the power is being delivered cleanly, and that is important for long-term durability.
