Antec ISK110 VESA M-ITX Chassis Review

There is no doubt that it’s a tight squeeze inside the ISK, but there was enough room for our Asus M-ITX board, but space was also saved thanks to our Akasa Venom low profile CPU cooler, which was ideal for this kind of chassis. The internal cables are pretty cramped in on the right hand side, but no so much that is was effecting airflow to the PSU or CPU areas. Overall build time was only around 10 mins, but with little to connect in terms of devices, I wasn’t expecting it to take any longer.

Around the back you can see I’ve mounted a single SSD, I mounted it long ways to make for easier cable routing but this can be mounted side ways to make room for a 2nd drive.

With the side panels back in place it’s still really easy to see within the chassis, this is a good thing as it should mean that airflow in and out of the chassis is unobstructed also.

Should you wish to mount this system on top of your desk, it does come with a simple clip-on vertical stand that actually makes the chassis look rather stylish. This wouldn’t look to bad sat on top of your desk and access to the front panel I/O ports is convenient in this mode.

If you prefer your system to be more stealth like, should you need to save on desk space, hide your HTPC out of the way or even have a commercial application for the system that needs to be out of sight, then you can use the included VESA mount. This clips on with ease just like the vertical stand and can easily be used to hang the chassis on the back of a VESA compatible screen or even just hung on a wall.
