Fitting the fans on the H600 or the H1200 is easily done, just use the included screws and fit the fan in the orientation of your choice. For the purpose of this review, I’ll be mounting the fans in a push configuration.
As you can see, those fans look stunning mounted on the radiator. What I really like is that the edges of the radiator are slightly extended, obviously to allow for a built-in reservoir, but that you can clearly see that little Antec logo on the edge. It may be a budget friendly cooler, but it’s clear that a lot of thought has gone into the overall aesthetics here.
The universal backplate drops into place, then you simply slot the metal pegs through the appropriate holes for your motherboard socket.
On the other side, you can see the pegs sticking through, providing us with the screw holes we need to fit the pump housing to the motherboard.
Place the appropriate bracket, AMD or Intel, over the pump housing, and use the included screws to fit it to your motherboard. I must admit, this was a little tricky, but it shouldn’t take more than a few minutes to get everything setup. The minimalist design of the pump is great too, it takes up very little space on the motherboard and should cause no issues with compatibility with any other component around it.
Once installed and powered up, the fan LEDs look absolutely stunning, giving off some rich colour that really brings to cooler to life.
The pump lights up with blue also, I wasn’t expecting this so it’s nice to see this extra little touch of colour added.
