Antec Kuhler H20 H1200 Pro & H600 Pro AIO Review

Final Thoughts

Price

I’m more than blown away with the value of these coolers. The Antec Kuhler 600 is available for pre-order from Overclockers UK for just £39.95 and the 1200 is only £59.99. This is exceptional value for money, especially since some rival models can be around twice that price. To add to the value, you’ll find each cooler comes with an impressive five-year warranty!

Overview

Antec has gone all out on these coolers, ditching the previous design with the pump over the fan and radiator into something far more back to basics, with a fairly standard and tried and tested format for their pump and radiator design. There’s no harm in it being a simple setup though, as that’s allowed Antec to focus heavily on build quality, reliability and, of course, the price.

They may not have had much luck with their last generation of Kuhler coolers, but all is forgiven today and it’s great to see Antec back on form. They’ve had a long history of affordable products that have rock solid build quality and the 600 and 1200 series coolers certainly tick those boxes.

The overall aesthetics of these coolers is simple but appealing. The pump is nice and compact, the mounting kit looks nice and tidy and the neat and tidy straight edges and glossy finish of the radiators will be a compliment to any system build. The addition of the LED fans and the small LED logo on the pump is another nice touch, adding some very welcome colour and light to your system build.

What’s really impressive are the performance figures, for this kind of money, it’s hard to get anything better in terms of cooling performance. Equally impressive is the fact that both the fans and the pump on these units are whisper quiet, even when we put the heat on in our overclocking tests, so you could easily push those fan RPM up a little more for some extra performance before noise became an issue.

Pros

  • Great build quality
  • Competitive performance
  • Quiet pump and fans
  • LED lighting
  • Compact design
  • Fantastic value for money

Cons

  • Mounting kit can be a little tricky, but it’s hardly a deal breaker

“The Antec Kuhler 600 and 1200 are easily the best price vs performance coolers on the market right now. With great looks, durable build quality and an impressive five-year warranty, we can’t recommend both models enough!”
