Antec Mobile Products A.M.P. Mobile Power Roundup Review

Antec have made a push into the mobile industry in a big way and while many other companies (foolishly in my opinion) turn their focus to endless iPhone cases, tablet stands and so forth. Of course if a company wants to do that, that’s fine and for some of them it’s even proven successful, but the world doesn’t need more iPhone cases. Antec however are focusing purely on the practical side of things and its something that has always been a trademark of Antec products, from their well-built chassis, cooling products, excellent cleaning products and now a range of mobile products that actually can help you enjoy your devices for longer.
Mobile battery chargers are nothing new, but good quality ones at a fair price are few and far between, with prices ranging from £20 for their PowerUp 3000, up to £40 for the PowerUp 6000 Antec do have some of the best price vs performance chargers on the market, they’re also pretty stylish in design and really well-built overall. Add to that a full range of power safety features, voltage protection and more and you’ve got a device that you can really rely on and when it comes to hooking something up to your expensive smart device, you want to know you can trust it to work reliably, which is something I belive Antec offers accross their entire range.
While we wait for technology to catch up with the power demands of the modern digital devices we carry on a daily basis, there is little else we can do that simply take more power with us, be that carrying our charger with us at all times, or keeping a device like the PowerUp in your pocket for emergencies, either way these mobile power devices are becoming a vital part of our daily routine, but on a safety note, its a good idea to keep one in the glovebox of your car or suitcase when your traveling, as you never know when your phone my run out of power.
The car adaptor is a great little thing to have too and it’s fairly priced as around £12 from a few online retailers, of course this one sells its self as you either need something like this or you don’t, but Antec have invested in making it of good quality and I really like the fuse system.
The winner for me however is the charging dock, its saving on so many plug sockets around my desk and it also means I can charge all my devices in one location. Before I would have my tablet charging in th kitchen, phones in the office and anything else would have to wait its turn! Priced at around £25 its great value for money and its highly practical too.
Every single one of these products offers great value for money, all are well made, highly functional and serve a great purpose, which is why I’m happy to award them all our Bang for Buck award, you can’t afford not to have these power companions in your digital tool kit.
