Antec Neo Eco 520W Semi-Modular Power Supply Review

A Closer Look – Interior

The choice of OEM isn’t entirely clear to me, though it appears to be based on Seasonic’s S12II Bronze 520W unit. Antec often use Seasonic for their OEM producer so this is hardly surprising.

This PSU does have an Active PFC coil which is nice for a budget unit.

The primary hold up capacitor is 400v 330uF and made by the Japanese company Nippon Chemi-Con.

There are additional daughterboards attached to the primary PCB which provide some of the protections such as SCP, OVP and OPP.

The majority of caps used to filter each line are made by Nippon Chemi-Con.

The included ADDA AD1212MB-A70GL fan does up to 2050RPM with 80.5CFM and 38 dBA.
