Antec Notebook Cooler 200

Test Setup
Throughout the testing period, we would generally use lots of different applications to test performance but a product of this nature only requires very simple testing in the form of various temperatures.

We started our test with the cooler unplugged and our chosen laptop placed upon it. We then continued to use CoreTemp to measure the temperature of Core #0 and Core #1.

Once the temperatures were accurately measured, we plugged the cooler in and waited 15 minutes for the temperatures to stabilise on the coolers lowest fan setting.

We then ramped the cooler up onto its highest fan setting and once again waited 15 minutes for the temperatures to stabilise.

The laptop that we decided to use was:

  • Model: Fujitsu/Siemens Amilo Pi 2515
  • Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo T5250 @ 1.50GHz
  • Memory: 2GB DDR2
  • Graphics: Intel GMA X3100
  • Screen Size: 15.4 LCD WXGA display
  • Operating System: Windows Vista Home Premium
