The Antec NX700 looks fantastic from the moment you take it out of the box. Don’t get me wrong, for the most part, it looks much like a lot of other PC cases these days. As you can see, there’s a big tempered glass window down the left side, which is pretty much the norm these days.
There’s a metal side panel on the right, again nothing out of the ordinary about that.
However, it’s that funky front panel that really dominates the otherwise “standard” design. It does look great though, with lots of interesting angles breaking up the massive amount of ventilation with that mesh design and some nicely finished plastics on the surround. I must admit, it looks reasonably interesting at the moment, but hold your final judgement until I fire up the RGB later in the review.
Around the back, the design is pretty much a standard ATX layout, with seven expansion slots, a height-adjustable fan mount, and a power supply amount. Overall, it’s all pretty straightforward stuff.
At the top of the case, you will find a full-length dust filter, which is magnetically mounted, so you can easily remove it for cleaning.
At the front of the case, on the right-hand side, comma you will find all the usual power controls, USB ports, and audio jacks. Again, there’s nothing particularly out of the ordinary here, but it does have everything you are likely to need.
