Antec P110 LUCE Tempered Glass Chassis Review

Final Thoughts

How Much Does it Cost?

The Antec P110 Luce Tempered Glass VR Ready Chassis is available now for the amazing price of £85. That’s properly fantastic value for money, and you can easily spend north of £100 for something similar and get nothing extra in return. Antec Performance chassis has always been a byword for premium quality and value, and the same is true of their latest model.

Overview

The latest chassis from Antec gets a huge thumbs up from me. For well under £100, it’s one of the best chassis on the market right now. It offers a unique design, without reinventing the wheel. It’s packed with value adding features, and practical engineering that’s sure to make it a joy to live with for any system builder.

Build Quality

In true Antec fashion, the bulk of the chassis is made from thick steel. The chunky and durable design gives it a durable feel that’s sure to protect your hardware with ease. The addition of the aluminium front panel, as well as the tempered glass window on the side, certainly push the quality into the premium bracket too. Little details like the Antec thumbscrews, or the amazingly robust 3.5″ HDD bays over the massive PSU shroud, all help sweeten the deal even further.

Added Value

I love that they found a way to combine the cable routing system with a GPU support bracket. It’s not the first chassis in the world to offer both of these features, but it works well regardless. It’s also simple and elegant in its execution of both. The VR ready aspect sounds like a gimmick, and it is, but it’s a gimmick that works well for those who need it. Being able to hook up a VR headset or any display to the front panel can have its uses for many these days. There are two fans pre-installed too, which is nice. However, I think paying a few extra quid to have a second intake fan would really make sense. There are dust filters throughout too, and they’re above the quality we would normally see in this price range.

Should I Buy One?

The P110 Luce gets so much right, that I would be mad not to suggest it. For a stylish system build, it ticks all the right boxes. However, as aesthetically pleasing as it is, it’s pretty darn practical too. With excellent dust filtering, GPU support brackets, VR pass-through and more, it’s sure to compliment your next gaming PC. Of course, at this price, it’ll compliment your wallet too.
