With the side panels removed, we can now see what was lurking behind all that lovely high-quality steel! Again, such a nice change of pace not to have more tempered glass!
Anyway, as you can see, there’s a fair bit of space in here!
There’s a large cut-away behind the motherboard, allowing you to easily install/remove CPU coolers, and a couple of large cut-outs for cable routing at the top of the case too.
There are two banks of cable routing grommets, as the first set which are for ATX motherboards would be covered up by the largest E-ATX motherboards, so either way, you’re well taken care of. There’s a GPU support arm mounted here too, but keep in mind, that this may need to be removed for E-ATX motherboards.
The PSU shroud looks awesome, with plenty more ventilation of its own to prevent unwanted pockets of heat from building up under it. However, there’s also room to mount 120mm fans on it, which would help better direct the airflow in your case up through your GPU and push heat out the case more efficiently. There are also three more cable-routing grommets here.
As I said, there are three 120mm fans in the front, but you can swap these out for 3 x 140mm if you want to, and the front will support 240/280/360mm radiators too.
There are no pre-installed fans at the back, but it does support a 120mm fan, and there’s plenty of ventilation and cooling space at the top of the case too.
Behind the motherboard, there’s a decent amount of space for cable routing behind the motherboard, and there are three Antec Velcro straps included too to help keep things neat. There are even mounts on the two extended cable routing grommets, so you can move the Velcro to those if you’re using an E-ATX motherboard.
Directly behind the motherboard, there’s a mounting plate that offers room for a couple of SSDs. There are special peg-like feet included in the box, and you can then just push-fit the SSD onto the mount tool-free, which is pretty neat.
There’s also a removable HDD cage in the bottom of the case, which is tool-free for 3.5″ drives, and screws are included to mount SSDs too.
