Antec P20CE Mid-Tower E-ATX Gaming Case Review

Complete System

Installing a system inside the P20CE could not be any easier, as it’s a pretty spacious case on the interior, so an ATX motherboard drops in easily enough. If you did go up to E-ATX, the GPU support arm needs removing, and you can move the Velcro over to cable tidy the other grommets, but even then, that’s hardly a lot of work to deal with.

There are large cable grommets that keep things much cleaner than they need to be. Given this version of the case doesn’t have a window, the interior is surprisingly nice to look at. Then again, I’m sure they use this same interior design on a windowed version of similar models, so that does make sense. However, as much as I love grommets, they’re not really needed here as you can’t see inside the build once it’s closed up.

There’s lots of room for the latest graphics cards, and while my RTX 2080 isn’t as big as the flagship RTX 4090 cards, they would fit in here just fine too. There’s an extra Velcro strap included too, which was handy for these GPU cables!

I would have liked to see at least a 120mm fan in the rear of the case too. However, with three fans bringing lots of airflow into the case, it still easily exhausts out the rear and the top of the case anyway.

Cooling support is great, and with all the airflow on offer, air-cooled builds will benefit greatly. However, if you did install an AIO, putting it in the top of the case as an exhaust would be pretty easy. However, if you put a 360mm radiator in the front of the case, you could take the pre-installed fans and add them to the top and rear fan mounts, which would be even better!

Overall though, it’s just a very nice-looking build, and the overall build quality is exceptional. The case feels rigid and overbuilt, as do all the Antec P-series cases, it just feels built to last. With all the panels back in place, it looks just as good as when I took it out of the box!
