With many years of experience creating chassis, Antec has been known to create some truly fantastic and innovative products over the last few decades. Their P-series chassis are often some of their best products too, and I’m hoping the same can be said for their latest creation, the Antec P8.
“Clean lines and an interior designed around performance characterize the Antec P8 as a distinctly modern addition to the acclaimed Performance Series. Among the many advanced features, the P8 mid-tower includes ample space for high-end components, clearance for a variety of cooling options, and a tempered glass side panel for a versatile and elegant system at an attractive price point.” – Antec
The P8 ticks a lot of boxes for any modern system builder. It supports ATX motherboards, an ATX PSU, has room for large graphics cards, a bit of water cooling and more. However, the main tricks here are that it comes with a huge tempered glass side panel window, and some lovely white LED fans. That’s not a big deal in its self, everyone is doing it. However, at around £60, the P8 is pretty much one of the cheapest to do so, at least from a well-known brand name.
“The chassis is made of steel / ABS and an attractive tempered glass side panel offer great insight into the installed components. The chassis features a PSU chamber to isolate the PSU from the other components and to minimize heat production and system noise” – Antec
While not the most feature packed chassis in the world, all the right stuff is here. For any mid-to-high-end system build, you shouldn’t run into any compatibility problems. So, let’s get it out of the box and take a closer look at how Antec is offering all this for just £60!
