Antec P82 Silent Mid-Tower Case Review

Antec is well-known for the P-series cases. They’re well made, the designs are often stylish but fairly simple, and they’re usually focused. Today, I’ll be taking a look at the new P82 Silent, which as you may have guessed from the name, is focused on Silence! It’s certainly not the first Silent case in this long-standing series, but I’m always happy to see Antec continue this lineup. Having owned and reviewed many of them in the past, they’ve always been pretty great.

Antec P82 Silent

It’s a simple-looking case on the outside, but it’s still got a decent range of features lurking within. There are noise isolation materials on the side panels, which will reduce vibrations and fan noise. There are three of Antec’s own 120mm fans pre-installed, two in the front, one in the back. Furthermore, those fans are hooked up to a built-in fan controller, allowing you more control over airflow and noise levels.

Features

  • Pre-installed Noise Dampening Materials
  • Three x 120mm Fans Pre-Installed
  • Front/Bottom Dust Filters
  • Built-in Fan Controller (High/Stop/Low)
  • PSU Shroud/Cable Routing
  • 280/360mm Radiator Support
  • Movable 2.5″ SSD Rack

What Antec Had to Say

“The design of P82 Silent is base on the concept of minimalism. With a white LED power-on light, ample diagonal stripes ventilation on the front panel, fan speed control button (High / Stop / Low) and 2 x 120 mm fan in the front & 1 x 120 mm in the rear, the P82 Silent is ready to help you to build the powerful system.” – Antec
