Antec and Razer have teamed up to create a sleek Mini-ITX case, specifically designed for gamers. The Antec Cube, which was unveiled by the pair at PAX West 2016, sports an efficient interior layout, with space to house one 3.5-inch HDD, up to four 2.5-inch SSDs, and a graphics card of up to 350mm in length, all in Razer’s familiar black and green aesthetic.
“We are pleased to be working with a company as prolific in the gaming space as Razer to create something new for the gaming community,” says Han Liu, Vice President of Antec North America. “We are confident that our shared expertise and passion for building the best experience for our diverse range of customers will add tremendous value to our product lines.”
“Antec manufactures some of the best cases for gamers, and we’re very happy that our engineering and design teams could come together to make this possible,” Kevin Sather, Director of Product Marketing for Razer’s systems business, added. “The Antec Cube – Designed by Razer provides PC builders the platform to create a high-end desktop gaming PC in a compact form factor.”
The Antec Cube enters production in October 2016, while pricing and availability will be announced before the end of the year. The case will also be available as a pre-built gaming system in China, provided by custom builder MayN, and is aimed to appeal to the burgeoning eSports culture in the country.
