Antec Reveal Four New CPU Air Coolers

With 30 years of experience behind them, Antec has made quite a few successful products, and they look set to continue that trend with the announcement of four new CPU air coolers. The new air coolers are designed for compatibility with leading desktop processor sockets and support Intel Core i7 Extreme, and AMD Sempron hardware.

“Competitively priced, our new air coolers offer a lot of features and ensure reliable cooling”, explains Jack Wu, General Manager Europe at Antec. “We offer entry level models for users with a smaller budget and also solutions for demanding high-performing set-ups and overclockers.”

The first cooler is the A30, a budget-friendly solution with a 92 mm blue LED fan for ultra-quiet operation. The aluminium fins with a size of 43 x 86 mm offer a larger surface area for efficient heat transference. The push-pin mounting system and included thermal paste allow for a fast, simple installation.

The Antec A40 Pro features a whisper-quiet 92 mm LED pulse width modulation (PWM) fan and a large, aluminium heat fin structure with four embedded heat pipes, allowing your CPU to cool off efficiently. The Aluminum oxide coating on the top fin of the air cooler boosts the efficiency of heat transfer and prevents oxidation.

The Antec C40 is designed for leading Intel and AMD processors and features an 8 mm thick copper coldplate and nickel-plated aluminum fins with four embedded heatpipes, achieving maximum heat transference as well as lightweight durability. The stealthily quiet blue 92 mm LED PWM (pulse width modulation) fan ensures that the C40 CPU Cooler defeats the system’s heat every time, without breaking a sweat. Four high performance heatpipes and 8mm thick copper coldplate work together to quickly transfer heat away from the CPU. It’s unique heat sink design with aluminum oxide coating prevents oxidation.

The Antec C400 is the Antec’s high-performance air cooler. It features an eight milimeter thick copper coldplate and nickel-plated aluminium fins with four embedded heatpipes to achieve maximum heat transference as well as lightweight durability. The whisper-quiet blue 120 mm LED PWM fan with 77 CFM of airflow illuminates the rig with blue light. The heatsink features a two-tiered fin structure which dissipates heat efficiently. The C400 CPU Cooler is the perfect tool to combat heat when overclocking any processor.

The A30, A40 Pro, C40 and C400 are now commercially available at a price between 15 Euros and 40 Euros.
