Antec Vortex 360 ARGB AIO Liquid Cooler Review

A Closer Look

Wow, those are some really gorgeous-looking fans! They have a ring of clear plastic over a smokey-coloured inner layer that makes them capable of diffusing light, but the top gloss makes them really shiny and I love it! These look expensive and good to look at just sitting on my table!

There are floating corner mounts, with some of the thickest anti-vibration rubber pads I’ve ever seen.

All the cables are black, with black sleeving and black connectors. Again Antec is absolutely scoring top points here in every regard.

The radiator is packed, with a good fin density which we would expect to see on a good quality high-end radiator, with 13 fins running the full length of the radiator.

They have used their new EPDM High-Density Tubing, which they say is very durable, and has less liquid loss (all coolers lose some liquid over their lifetime, albeit extremely slowly).

The pump has adjustable mounts on the side for the tubing, and that glossy black top has its own ARGB built in, which we’ll see better shortly.

The copper base plate really is massive on this thing, so any of the largest supported CPUs will have excellent coverage. Also, smaller CPUs will just benefit from the increased mass of the cooling surface anyway.

Oh wow does that look nice or does that look NICE? OK, enough of this, let’s plug it in and see that ARGB in action!
