How Much Does it Cost?

The Vortex 360 ARGB All-in-One Liquid CPU Cooler from Antec is available now at Scan for a very reasonable £99.98. Considering the last two AIOs of this size I tested were £200-300, largely due to their trick LCD displays in the pumps, £99 seems like an absolute bargain for such a mighty cooler.

Overview

Antec has a really impressive cooler here, and one that seems pretty disruptive compared to the other AIOs I’ve tested. That being said, I haven’t really tested any bad coolers on this new test bench, I’m working my way through some big hitters. However, considering Antec has competitive performance at such an affordable price, I see this cooler as a big win for Antec, and for anyone who intends to buy one.

The ARGB lighting effects are some of the best I’ve seen, mostly because the fans actually look unique, new and interesting in equal measure. Many brands’ fans look quite similar, and Antec has a really modern and cool design that both stands out, but also keeps the lighting subtle too. Their quality is great, they run quietly, all the cables are black and sleeved, and I’d be happy to have these throughout my whole PC build, let alone my cooler.

The radiator is very nicely done, with a tightly packed set of fins that you would expect to see on a high-end model. The thick and durable tubing is meant to be more robust than usual but still offers good flexibility too. There is room for improving the AMD/Intel mounting arms on the pump, but really it’s not a deal breaker, not even close, but I’m clutching at straws to find any issues beyond that.

Should I Buy One?

The performance is good enough to keep up with any other high-end and flagship model on the market. The fans are as good as any premium model I’ve ever had dealings with, the AIO pump runs quiet, and I didn’t hear any unwanted gurgles or bubbles throughout my testing. Plus, largely, this is one of the nicest-looking AIO coolers I’ve seen, and I’ve seen a lot of them. How Antec did do this for £99.99? I have no idea, but I’m seriously considering picking one up for my own PC, it’s a great cooler!
