The AOC Q27G4X is a great-looking monitor, with extremely small bezels on the sides and top, and while there is a thicker bezel on the bottom, it’s actually still pretty slim. This is going to mean fewer distractions and also means it’ll work great in a multi-monitor configuration.
The stand offers an impressive range of height adjustment, allowing you to jack it up surprisingly high, should you have the need.
But it also can be pushed down very low so it’s almost touching the desk!
There’s a decent amount of left and right pivot too, but any further than that and you’ll have to turn that base of the stand too.
It can be tilted forwards ever so slightly, not much, but enough to move the panel out of the way of any bright reflections.
However, there’s a fairly large amount of backwards tilt too, which is great to see.
Around the back, it’s got a very angular design, with a stamped AOC logo on the back, but otherwise, things are kept pretty simple here.
There’s no external power brick, so you can simply plug in a kettle lead to the monitor, which is always a welcome feature.
There are two HDMI ports, and a DisplayPort on the back, meaning you can hook up your PC, laptop or consoles easily enough.
