AOC AGON Gaming 16G3 144Hz Portable Gaming Monitor Review

A 16″ portable monitor may not sound all that exciting, and you would mostly be right, it’s really not something a lot of people need. There are a lot of “boring” ones out there, largely just business monitors for presentations, expanding your laptop screenspace and such. However, AOC AGON are all about high-end gaming, and their new 16G3 display may be small, but it’s packing some serious heat!

AOC AGON Gaming 16G3

The AOC GAMING 16G3 is the first AOC GAMING portable gaming monitor and features a 15.6″ Full HD IPS display with 178-degree viewing angles, and an impressive 250 cd/m2 brightness. However, the 144Hz refresh rate, FreeSync and 4ms response times make this stand out even more! With the ability to connect via HDMI and USB-C, you can use compatible Thunderbolt USB, mobile devices, consoles and more to hook up to the 16G3 and get gaming. There’s a set of built-in speakers, a headphone jack and even a built-in stand (and VESA support). So, portable this may be, but it’s just as capable as their usual gaming monitors.
