AOC has revealed their new AG241 line of monitors, which are targeted at PC gamers who want the latest features from their display, as well as high refresh rates. The new series of monitors comprises of two models, the AG241QG and the AG241QX.
Both panels measure in at 23.8-inch and feature a WQHD (2560×1440) resolution with TN-film LCD panels from AU Optronics. The AG241QG offers up a rather swift 165 Hz refresh rate as well as support for Nvidia G-Sync, while the AG241QX offers up a 144 Hz refresh rate and AMD FreeSync support. It’s pretty obvious these are the same monitor, for the most part, with one tailored to suit Nvidia and AMD hardware capabilities respectively.
Both panels offer 170°/160° (H/V) viewing angles, 1 ms (GTG), 1000:1 contrast, a rheostat-based WLED illumination (flicker-free), active blue-light reduction, and matte anti-glare screen surfaces, built-in headset stand, VESA support and a 4-port USB 3.0 hub. Both monitors take input from DisplayPort 1.2/1.2a and HDMI connectors.
Both models will be available from November, the AG241QG is expected to be priced at £519, and the AG241QX at £389.
