AOC has announced the latest addition to their AGON gaming line up called the AG352UCG6. It shares similar features to their AG352UCG but has a an all-black gamer look instead. This monitor goes head to head against Acer’s Z35P. However, in usual AOC fashion, it is more affordable in price than other brands.
The AOC AG352UCG6 uses a VA panel instead of an IPS panel. Which is why it is lower in price compared to some gaming monitors. However, it provides very good contrast ratio an 8-bit color depth with 100% of sRGB color space.
It supports a maximum resolution of 3440 x 1440 on its 35-inches of 21:9 aspect ratio 1800R curved screen. Plus it can run at 120Hz with a 4ms response time. Moreover, it has support for NVIDIA’s G-Sync technology.
In terms of connectivity, there is an HDMI 1.4 and DisplayPort 1.2 available. The back side also features RGB LED lighting.
AOC will show the display in person at Intel Extreme Masters in Katowice, Poland on February 25 and until March 6. The actual availability is around May 2018.
AOC has not disclosed any specifics yet. However, the ACG352UCG6 currently costs $900 USD so expect the pricing to be around that range. Comparable size and feature monitors such as the Acer Z35P cost around $1100, so the AOC option is more affordable.
