AOC rated this monitor as capable of hitting 100% of sRGB and 90% of DCI-P3, and straight away, it exceeded that by 3%, which is nice, as 90% is already pretty impressive.
Using the default settings, the Gamma 1 setting in the OSD hit our ideal target of 2.2, so I’m very happy to leave that setting alone.
The gray ramp is very clean, starting a little warm at 20% but reaching a more ideal 6500K target at higher settings, overall though, this is a very good result, and there’s not much deviance throughout the range.
The peak brightness was rated at 250 nits, and we got just a little above that at 262, so again, that’s a great result. The contrast was rated at 4000:1 but we got more like 6000:1 which is fantastic, and a testament to the long-lasting strengths of VA panels.
On the default settings, colour accuracy is very good, with a Delta-E under our ideal target of 3.0, scoring just 1.48 on average.
I set the monitor to its sRGB mode, and colour accuracy increased pretty significantly, with just a slight inaccuracy in the blues, but don’t confuse this with the image being overly blue, as this is colour accuracy not a reading of colour output.
