It took a while but AOC‘s new G90 series mainstream gaming monitors are finally available in the UK. AOC first introduced these monitors a few months ago, spanning 24.5-inch to 27-inch options. This includes the G2590VXQ, the G2590PX and the G2790PX. All thre are TN panel displays supporting resolutions of up to 1920 x 1080 with Adaptive Sync technology. Moreover, these monitors feature a 3-sided frameless design which looks quite slick, ideal for multi-monitor setups.
Furthermore, all three are affordably priced for their feature set. Both the G2590PX and the G2790PX operate up to 144Hz, allowing for a smoother gameplay. The G2590VXQ on the other hand supports up to 75Hz. The G2590PX and G2790PX are also equipped with a built-in USB 3.0 hub, making it convenient for multiple devices.
In terms of display output, all three monitors have a pair of HDMI ports, one DisplayPort and one VGA port for legacy devices. There is also a 3.5mm audio out jack to pass-through audio from the HDMI input.
The AOC G2790PX has been in stores since December 2017, followed by the AOC G2590VXQ in January 2018 and the AOC G2590PX is available as of now. The MSRPs are £309, £159 and £249 respectively.
