AOC recently introduced a fully adaptable and economic 55.8 (22”) screen. The e2219P2 from AOC’s professional line is a perfect solution for business and home office users, who appreciate a monitor with full ergonomic adjustment and a classic neutral design. Equipped with energy-saving LED backlights, this 22” model with its 16:10 format matches all requirements of numerous environmental certificates. Whilst easy on the environment, this LCD also satisfies cost-efficiency expectations.
Height adjustability is a crucial feature for a healthy posture when sitting in front of a monitor. The e2219P2 not only allows for its screen to be raised by 110 mm, but also offers tilt and swivel function – which is especially useful for quick meetings und presentations. Thanks to the pivot function, the entire display rotates in a 90° angle from landscape to portrait within seconds, making it easer to work on long documents.
The e2219P2 boasts a 250 cd/m2 brightness, a typical contrast ratio of 1000:1 (dynamic: 20.000.000:1) and a response time of 2 ms. The display also features a 1680 x 1050 pixels resolution (format 16:10), integrated speakers as well as VGA and digital DVI-D connectors (both cables included).
All AOC monitors are produced fully mercury-free. Due to the energy-efficient LED backlights, the e2219P2 uses less than 30 watts during standard operation. Furthermore, the model meets all the standards for environmental certificates such as EPEAT Silver, TCO 5.1 and Energy Star 5.0.
Next to the energy-saving Eco Mode, this professional model comes with e-Saver, a software which controls the monitor’s shutdown settings for an even more economic operation. Thanks to the i-Menu feature changes to the display settings can be made comfortably with the computer mouse. The innovative Screen+ software enables the user to split the screen into up to four individual panes, thus eliminating the tedious task of having to switch between different application windows.
The e2219P2 will be available from April 2012, includes a 3-years warranty and comes at a RRP of £144.99.
