One of the world’s largest manufacturer of LCD, LED monitors and HDTVs known as AOC has unveiled a new monitor equipped with full 3D technology while providing flicker-free images; the e2352Phz.
“AOC’s new flicker-free 3D monitor lets you experience what 3D was meant to be – with clear, bright and vivid images that make your display come to life,” said Robert Velez, AOC Marketing Manager. “Whether you are gaming on your computer or watching your favorite movie, this high quality 23-inch monitor can’t be beat in terms of value, features and price point.”
This slim high definition 23″ monitor brings FPR 3D technology, displaying bright, crisp and vivid 3D images, eliminating eye fatigue and dizziness caused by most of the mainstream 3D displays. Through simple setup plug-and-play and the HDMI 1.4a input ready for 3D playback, any device can be connected and played without any wait or complicated setup.
To go more into details, AOC’s FPR technology on this monitor works with the included lightweight portable 3D passive polarized glasses to offer a comfortable viewing experience along with brighter and more vivid images. In comparison, most of the conventional 3D glasses are battery-powered shutter glasses that use complicated signalling process, thus causing eyestrain, headaches and dizziness.
In addition to the realistic 3D experience, crosstalk-free crops and clear images, this monitor also allows easy conversion from 2D to 3D.
Specification wise, the monitor is capable of displaying more than 16.7 million colours, features a 5ms response time and has a dynamic ratio of 20,000,000:1, giving a better view of darker scenes.
With the ENERGY STAR compliant monitor’s LED backlight panel containing no toxic mercury, it also uses half the power of the traditional CCFL screens.
For convenience and a more enjoyable experience, the monitor is equipped with a built-in VESA stand as well as built-in speakers.
Available now, the e2352Phz is priced at $299 from TigerDirect.com and BestBuy.com, as well as among other retailers.
