AOC is one of the leading names in the monitor market offering a wide variety of home and gaming displays with high refresh rates and wide panel options. Today the company has unveiled their first portable gaming monitor named the 16G3 offering a 144Hz gaming experience on the go.
The AOC Gaming 16G3 is a 15.6″ Full HD portable IPS display which offers the gaming experience for both PC and console enthusiasts from beyond their homes. It features a fast 144Hz refresh rate with 4ms response time and offers a brightness of 250 cd/m² and a contrast ratio of 1000:1 ensuring punchy colours, captivating highlights and shadows are displayed regardless of whether it is used indoors or outdoors. The design of the monitor also follows a gaming style with bold red accents pairing up with a black carbon-fibre-like rear panel. It has a slim profile of 11.5mm and weighs less than 1.1kg making it easy to carry around in most laptop bags and the included padded carrying bag.
The monitor comes with several additional features including a built-in smart stand which allows adjustment to the most comfortable viewing angles during gaming sessions, this stand also allows for transitioning between portrait and landscape orientations through the auto-pivot function. For connectivity there is a microHDMI input as well as 2 USB-C which supports DisplayPort Alt mode and power for powering the monitor. The monitor also includes two 1W speakers as well as a headphone jack. The rear also features a 50x50mm VESA mount for a fixed installation.
The AOC GAMING 16G3 will be available from mid-September 2023 at an MSRP of £249.99.
